Director's Welcome

Mr. Joshua Johnlouis, a Crosby, Texas native and graduate of Howard University, serves as the Head Choir Director at Goose Creek Memorial High School. After performing with renowned ensembles such as the Howard Gospel Choir and Howard University Chorale, he returned to Texas in 2025 to lead and revitalize the GCM Choir program. Passionate about music education and student success, Mr. Johnlouis is dedicated to fostering excellence, artistry, and a lifelong love of choral music.
